A church
that takes
faith seriously.

The RoadE Church is a place of encounter. Every service, every message, every prayer is aimed at one thing: people meeting God and being changed by it.

We're based at Roman Ridge Shopping Arcade in Accra, and we gather three times a week. Not because we're trying to fill a calendar, but because we genuinely believe that the Word, prayer, and community are things worth coming back to.

We're a church for people who are searching, people who are settled, and everyone in between. You don't need to have it figured out to belong here.

01
Word-Centred
Every message is rooted in Scripture and aimed at real life.
02
A House of Prayer
Prayer isn't a programme item here. It's the foundation.
03
Real Community
We know each other by name. We carry each other's burdens.
04
Spirit-Led
We leave room. Our services are structured, but never shut.
What We Believe
We believe in the birth, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Jesus came into the world as fully God and fully man, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, and died on the cross for our sins. He didn't stay dead. On the third day He rose again, and that resurrection is the whole foundation of what we believe. It changes everything — death doesn't get the final word.

"If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." — Romans 10:9
We believe in the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is not a feeling or a concept. He is the third person of the Trinity, present and active in the life of every believer. He convicts, guides, comforts, empowers, and speaks. At The RoadE Church, we create space for Him to move — in our services, in our prayers, and in the everyday lives of our people.

"But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things." — John 14:26
We believe in Tithing.

Tithing is not a tax — it's an act of trust. Bringing the first tenth of what you earn back to God is a declaration that He is Lord over your finances, not you. We teach tithing not to build an institution, but because we've seen what happens when people honour God with what they have: He opens doors that money alone can't open.

"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse... and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing." — Malachi 3:10

A life given
to the Word
and the people.

Rev. Barima Appiah-Korang is the Founder and Senior Pastor of The RoadE Church. His ministry is shaped by a single conviction: that the Gospel is the most practical truth a person can encounter on any day of the week, not just Sundays.

As a preacher, he brings the Word with clarity and pastoral warmth. His messages are grounded in the text and aimed at the heart. People leave not just informed, but moved.

He is also a business developer, project manager, and author. His forthcoming book, Still Standing, reflects the same faith that shapes his pulpit: that God holds even when life doesn't.

"The road isn't a metaphor for wandering. For those who walk with God, it's always leading somewhere, and it's always leading well."

📚 Pastoral Training

Raised
to Lead.

The RoadE Church runs a structured pastoral training programme for those called to ministry. Every Tuesday evening, trainee pastors gather to be built, not just taught.

The programme is called Raised to Lead, and it is built on two foundations: the Jesus Building Principle and the Joshua Principle. It takes leadership development seriously, because the church deserves leaders who are prepared.

The full programme runs 22 modules across 6 parts, covering everything from inner life and prayer, to ministry skills, administration, and mission.

Give generously.
Give with purpose.

Giving is an act of worship. When you bring your tithe and offering to The RoadE Church, you're not just supporting a ministry — you're partnering with what God is doing in Accra and beyond.

Every gift goes toward the Word being preached, leaders being trained, and lives being changed. We are faithful with what you sow here.

"Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts."

Sunday Service
The Road You Didn't Choose
"Some of the most important roads in your life are the ones you didn't plan. Joseph didn't choose the pit. But God used the pit to put him on the path to the palace..."
WORD Service
Still Standing: Faith After the Storm
"There are people who survive a storm and credit themselves. But the better testimony is to come out and say: it was God. It was only ever God..."
Power Service
Ask, and Keep Asking
"The parable of the persistent widow isn't about wearing God down. It's about a faith that refuses to let go, because it knows the Judge is good and the answer is coming..."
Sunday Service
What You Carry Into the Room
"When the disciples came together, they weren't just a group of people. They carried the presence. They carried the assignment. What you bring into the room matters..."
WORD Service
The Word That Does Not Return Empty
"God says his Word will not return to him void. That's not a nice thought — it's a promise with teeth. When you plant the Word in someone's life, something is going to grow..."
Power Service
When You Need a Breakthrough
"Breakthroughs don't always look the way we expect. Sometimes God breaks through quietly. But he always breaks through — for those who refuse to stop pressing..."

What God Has Done

Every testimony is a declaration. It says God showed up, He was faithful, and He did what only He can do. We celebrate what He has done in the lives of our people.

"I had been praying for a child for six years. After joining the Friday Power Service and praying consistently with this community, God answered. My daughter is two years old now. I will never stop testifying."

Sarah O.
Miracle of fruitfulness

"The WORD Service on Thursdays transformed how I read the Bible. I came as someone who found scripture confusing. Now it is my daily bread. Pastor Barima teaches in a way that makes the Word come alive."

Emmanuel T.
Growth in the Word

"My business was on the verge of collapse. I surrendered it to God through prayer at The RoadE Church. Within two months, a contract came that turned everything around. God is not silent."

Kwame A.
